Some of us have returned to homes still standing, but many people in Grand County have lost their homes and are still displaced. The funds below go directly to families who have lost everything and are planning to rebuild. Please consider donating to these members of our community so they can look to the future and start to feel comfort once again. Thank you for your support!

Nick Peterson, Sonya Pellini & Family

Nick, Sonya, their two children and pets have lost their beautiful home due to the East Troublesome Fire. They have lost many belongings and need our help to rebuild their lives.  Anything helps and is greatly appreciated!

Attila Koreny

In a matter of minutes, the retirement home Attila Korney spent years building himself at the Grand Lake Golf Course was gone. Knowing insurance will not fully cover what he has spent on his home, please consider donating to help him rebuild what was lost.

Jodie & Donnie Kern

The Kerns have committed their lives to public service. Jodie Kern has been a 911 dispatcher for 20 years. Her husband, Donnie, is a retired firefighter. They lost their home of 24 years in Grand Lake. They need donations, they need support, they need love. Anything helps!

Jessica & Kendall Rahn

The Rahn's home was lost in a matter of minutes. Jess, Kendall, and their three-month-old son, Max, are safe in temporary housing, but need assistance as they begin the process to rebuild their forever home. Please consider helping them out!

Stephanie Conners & Randy Claeys

You may recognize Steph's cheery face from serving at the Roadhouse and Sagebrush BBQ. Randy and Steph have lost their first home together and everything they owned. They were left with only what they could pack in their cars in mere minutes. Roger Claeys also lost his rental and possessions gathering only what he could.

Marjorie & Craig Cranston

Dear members of the community and owners of Jackstraw Mountain Gallery, lost their home. Like others, they will likely wait several weeks if not months to receive anything from their insurance company, they could use your help to cover everyday living expenses (food, clothing, housing, and bills, etc.). Please consider donating any amount to help them stay afloat during this challenging time.

Tucker's house & shop is a total loss due to the East Troublesome Fire. His fund has been started to help assist with any immediate financial needs he may need. Please donate if you can. All proceeds will be used sparingly and extra will be donated to others who have been affected.

The Busse Family & Winding River Ranch

The Winding River Ranch was in the path of the fire and all buildings - their home, ranch, event venue, animal sanctuary - were burned to the ground. Help Granny and family rebuild the memories of so many who have said their vows, a place to heal and a place where rescue animals can find a forever home.

Rachel & Rich

Rachel just celebrated 20 years as a 911 dispatcher for the county last month and Rich served as a firefighter for the Grand Lake Fire Protection District for 15 years. They lost almost everything to this horrific fire, including more than $50k worth of Rich's tools which were stored in the shop where he works as a mechanic on boats and snowmobiles.

Shawn Bruton

Shawn Bruton has lived on Sun Valley Ranch for most of her life. When the fire came sweeping through the neighborhood, she was only able to save her livestock. She was escaped with only the clothes on her back. Every dollar can help her get back on her feet, purchase essentials, and start to rebuild what was lost.

Diane Williamson

Diane Williamson, who grew up in Grand Lake and has lived here for the past 46 years, has lost everything. She is now in a safe place staying with her daughter, but has lost her house and no longer has a place to call home. She took only what she could fit in her car. Help Diane return to her one and only home.

Kevin Piercy

Kevin is the Riverside Camp Host for Riverside Baptist Church and lived at Camp Riverside in Grand Lake. Kevin lost his home, pets and belongings while fighting the fires in Grand Lake.

The Reed Family spent the past three years building their home in Grand Lake, Colorado, with their own hands. With the explosion of the East Troublesome Fire, they lost everything. Please consider helping them rebuild and recover.

30 years ago, Richard Schliep, with his father's help, built his family home where he and Jennie would create their family, their life, and their legacy. Now, Richard and Jenny, the owner's of Sloopy's Grill in Grand Lake, are forced to rebuild.

The Hedgecock Family & Highland Marina

The Hedgecock Family has lost their home and business, Highland Marina, on Lake Granby. Help them with temporary housing, food, supplies and personal items by donating to their fund.

Barb and Steve King, beloved members of the Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park communities, lost their log cabin home of 50 years to the fire. They were forced to evacuate with little notice and lost everything. The history and the beauty of that log cabin are irreplaceable, but with help, they can rebuild on the piece of land that holds the soul of their family.

Keith and Laura Kratz, owners of Studio 8369 Gallery, were in Denver on an errand when the fire hit, they took nothing with them. The amazing little cabin of their dreams, that they just paid off is gone. Keith's truck and all his photography equipment is gone. Please consider helping them rebuild!

The Grand Foundation

The Grand Foundation serves all of Grand County and seeks to improve the quality of life in Grand County by proactively addressing current and future needs in the areas of Health & Human Services, Arts & Culture, Education, Amateur Sports and Environment.

Grand Lake First Responders

This fund, organized by the Grand Lake Fire Department, is to help first responders who have lost homes in the East Troublesome Fire. Currently, 8 first responders lost everything they own. Help these heroes and their families get back on their feet!

Evacuated Animals Feed Relief

Help Bar Lazy J care for the evacuated animals they have taken in. They are seeking donations to buy feed and help individuals focus on rebuilding their homes, knowing that their animals are in good hands.
